What’s inside?

The CIRCLE-T Training Resources combine practical knowledge, interactive exercises, videos and ready-to-use materials designed to help theatre-makers introduce circular practices into their work. The training consists of three connected modules that take you from understanding circular theatre to putting it into practice and building networks around it.

> MODULE 1: AWARENESS & BEST PRACTICES

Discover the foundations of circular theatre. Learn how the circular economy applies to theatre-making, explore sustainability facts and myths, and get inspired by good practices from theatres across Europe.

> MODULE 2: HOW TO IMPLEMENT CIRCULAR THEATRE

Turn ideas into action. Explore eco-design principles, sustainable material choices and the full life cycle of a theatre production, and learn how to use the Theatre Green Book through practical challenges involving scenery, costumes and props.

> MODULE 3: RESOURCES, NETWORKING & NETWORTHING

Learn how collaboration can make theatre more sustainable. Explore local resources and suppliers, funding opportunities, policies and communication strategies, while developing a “share, loan, swap” mindset and connecting with the CIRCLE-T Network.

> PRACTICAL CHALLENGES & EXERCISES

Put the methodology into practice through interactive activities, including the Great Green Book Challenge, sustainability mission planning, funding exercises and media challenges.
